BCCI released Rishabh Pant’s medical bulletin before 2 on the day of Manchester Test

Team India wicketkeeper-son Rishabh Pant suffered injuries during the early day (Wednesday, 23 July) against England at Old Trafford, Manchester. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) issued an official statement on pants injury, forcing him to hurt while batting.

During the 69th over of India’s first innings, the pants injured their right leg while trying to reverse sweep from Chris Woakes. He was unable to walk, forcing him to leave the ground in an ambulance cart. The left -handed batsman’s possibilities appear slim to bat in the match, given the seriousness of the injury.

In particular, the injury comes at an important time for India, which lags behind 1-2 in the chain and it must win this exam to survive. Visitors are now under additional pressure in this high-day competition.
