Rishabh Pant fined Rs 12 lakh

The LSG vs CSK match played at the Ekana Sports Complex in Lucknow saw a clash between one team that is eyeing a playoff spot and the other that is aiming for some respect with a few consolation wins.

Lucknow Super Giants defeated Chennai Super Kings in an important match and made the road ahead difficult for the Super Kings. However, Rishabh Pant was fined after the match for the team’s first offense of the season under the IPL’s code of conduct relating to minimum over-rate offences.

A total fine of Rs 12 lakh has been imposed on LSG under Article 2.22 of the IPL Code of Conduct following his first offense of the season.
