Former Indian cricketer Manoj Tiwari has made an emotional appeal to boycott the upcoming match against India in the upcoming Asia Cup 2025, which is starting from 9 September. The India vs Pakistan struggle is scheduled on 14 September at Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai.
The BCCI and the Government of India are facing anger of fans, former cricketers and politicians for the time of the India vs Pakistan game, especially after the deadly terrorist attacks in Pahgam, Jammu and Kashmir on 22 April, which claimed 26 lives.,

The former Indian batsman has repeatedly pointed out terrorist incidents, including the disastrous Pulwama attack in 2019, killing 40 CRPF personnel, questioning the morality to celebrate the game, while the wounds of terrorism were fresh.
Manoj Tiwari was told by Annie: “Look, first of all, I am boycotting the Asia Cup personally. I don’t like to see it. And I don’t know who is the team, And i don’t want to go into that detail,
“I don’t like to see what kind of environment it has been in, and where people have been killed in attacks in Pahalgam, we have seen a lot before. It has happened in Pulwama too. So, when this happens, how can we enjoy the game? It is beyond my comprehension. That’s why I am personally boycotting it.”
What is the benefit?
Tiwari feels that India vs Pakistan match in the Asia Cup 2025 will not bring any real advantage in India, and he suggested that men in Blue should focus on winning other matches in the tournament and send a strong message except India vs Pakistan game.
The Bengal Minister further said, “What is the benefit? You have to get TRP; you need revenue? If ICC people cannot get rid of them, you should get rid of that game. In other sports, you do well. See what happens. It will be a statement of our country.”

Manoj Tiwari says that the families of the martyrs deserve respect, not India vs Pakistan match
Tiwari went ahead and attacked Pakistan, saying that the terrorists, who were behind Pulwama, Pahgam and other attacks, were from the neighboring country.
He said that the Pakistani government has not tried his best to end terrorist organizations in its country, so there is no point in facing blue men in the field of cricket in India.
The former Indian batsman insisted that families affected by Pulwama and Pahalgam tragedies cannot be expected to compete against the nation related to the loss of its loved ones.
Tiwari reiterated that India vs Pakistan match should not be held in the Asia Cup 2025 as due to the recent Pahalgam attack and the previous Pulwama tragedy.
Tiwary signed by saying, “So, understand, in which mindset the families who lose their members, they will be inWhat emotional situation will they be in? When a soldier sacrifices his life for his country, he does not do it in the name of sportsmanship; We play against the country from where terrorists are coming. this should not happen.”
