BCCI, Nasar Hussain revealed ‘painful’ on India’s star injury

Former England national cricket team captain Nasar Hussain and BCCI have provided a new update on the injury afflicted by India National Cricket Team Test Vice-Capture Rishabh Pant on Thursday 10 July.

Superstar India National Cricket Team wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant raised an injury in the third Test match of the five-match series against the England National cricket team at Lord’s in London.

The pants hurt their fingers during the 34th over, bowled by Pace Spearhead Jasprit Bumrah. On the first ball, Bumrah did a full-length delivery to Oli Pope to angling leg-side, and England batter looked at it to remove it, but completely missed it.

The ball went towards Rishabh Pant, which dives the entire dive, but only a little can be erased on the ball as England raised two lefts. As soon as the ball hit him on the fingers and injured him, the physio immediately came in the middle to give some treatment.

Pant somehow managed to stay in the middle for the remainder, but in the next over, Dhruv Jurlel was called as a substitute wicketkeeper.

Speaking on Air, former England national cricket team captain Nasar Hussain provided the latest update on the Indian wicketkeeper-batsman.

Hussain has said that Rishabh Pant has pasted the nail on his right index finger and he has no fracture. He said:

“Rishabh Pant’s index finger is injured on his left hand. He has divided his nails, which is painful, but not a finger break. It is being treated with ice in the dressing room.”

Meanwhile, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) released an official statement on X and confirmed that the batsman was under the supervision of the medical team. BCCI said:

“Update: #Teamindia vice-captain Rishabh Pant was killed on his left index finger. He is currently getting treatment under the supervision of the medical team. Dhruv Jurlel is currently holding wickets in Rishabh’s absence.
