After suffering an embarrassing defeat against South Africa in Guwahati, the Indian national cricket team has finally received some good news on the fitness front. Indian captain Shubman Gill is recovering faster than expected after missing the second Test match against South Africa.

Shubman Gill suffered a neck injury during the first Test against South Africa and missed the rest of the match at Eden Gardens in Kolkata before the second Test, where the Indian team lost by 408 runs in Guwahati.
