The BCCI vice -president said, “This issue arises because there are no hotels. We need 300 rooms in the five -star hotel, and it is not available. There is no international airport in the area to be operated 24/7. There was a better arrangement, they would have got an advantage.”

He also clarified why there are rarely issues like players’ diseases during the IPL, but senior or informal matches appear. Shukla said that during the IPL, there is no control over the BCCI player housing or food system, as all decisions are fully managed by the franchisees. Shukla signed, saying, “In the case of IPL, everything depends on the franchise. They decide where the players live, and this is completely their choice, as the BCCI has no role in deciding. They choose a hotel of their priority.”
