In a major development, the Control Board for Cricket in India (BCCI) has agreed to demand the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on the Asia Cup 2025.
On Wednesday, 23 July, a journalist at the A Times of India (TOI) revealed that the Control Board for Cricket in India (BCCI) has agreed to attend the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) meeting in Dhaka.

PCB tried to pressurize BCCI
Earlier, it was reported by India today that the Asia Cup is in danger 2025 as the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) refused to attend the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) meeting in Dhaka.
The BCCI demanded that the ACC meeting be shifted outside Bangladesh due to stressful political relations between India and Bangladesh, but the ACC and PCB president, Mohsin Naqvi, were adamant about the meeting held in Dhaka.
The PCB tried to pressurize the BCCI on the Asia Cup affairs by holding a meeting in Dhaka even after receiving support from Sri Lanka, Oman and Afghanistan by the Indian Cricket Board.
BCCI agrees to attend the online dhaka meeting
However, the Control Board for Cricket in India (BCCI) has been forced to change its stand and is now ready to attend the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) meeting in Dhaka.
A toi journalist confirmed that BCCI Vice President Rajiv Shukla would attend Asia meeting on Thursday, July 24, to discuss the Asia Cup 2025 matters.

In particular, the President of the Control Board for Cricket in India (BCCI), Roger Binny, recently turned 70-the upper age limit for any office of BCCI, according to the BCCI Constitution approved by the Supreme Court, and Vice President, Rajiv Shukla, is likely to succeed.

Recently, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) shared a post on X, stating that BCB President, Aminul Islam Bulbul welcomed PCB chief Mohsin Naqvi, with a welcome with a bouquet of flowers in Dhaka.

According to a report in Cricfrenzy, Aminul Islam Bulbul and Mohsin Naqvi recently met the Bangladesh advisor to the ministries of youth and sports and local government ministries, Asif Mahmud Sajeeb Bhuyan.
In the meeting, a “creative discussion” focuses on strengthening bilateral relations between Bangladesh and Pakistan. In particular, both teams are currently in the three -match T20I series, which Bangla Tigers have already won with a game.
