Pujara ended as India’s eighth largest run-scorer in tests. His best performance came in Australia in the 2018-19 Border-Gavaskar Trophy, where he scored 521 runs and faced more than 1,200 balls.
India won their first series in Australia. Pujara also impressed with the bat during 2021 in Brisbane, where his 56 runs against tireless bowling helped India achieve a historic victory in Gabba.
