Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya, who suffered an injury ahead of the Asia Cup final, reached the BCCI Center of Excellence on Tuesday, and hence he will assess and decide his future course of action at the COE.
India is scheduled to leave for Australia on October 15 as all the Indian players have reached the capital city and are scheduled to leave tomorrow. Virat Kohli reached Delhi this morning and will fly with the Indian team for the upcoming tour.
The series will be played from October 19 to October 25 with three 50-over matches. These matches will be followed by a five-match series in the shortest format of the game, starting from November 29.

India’s experienced all-rounder Hardik Pandya has been ruled out of the game after Asia Cup 2025. The star all-rounder injured his left quadriceps during the Asia Cup 2025 vs Sri Lanka match.
As a result of this injury, he missed the Asia Cup final against Pakistan and was in no condition to take the field for the much-awaited clash, and was advised rest until cleared by the BCCI medical team.
According to TOI, Hardik Pandya is set to check into the BCCI Center of Excellence in Bengaluru on Tuesday and will be evaluated for future action. The initial timeline for improvement was around 4-6 weeks, but clarity will come only after this assessment.

Hardik Pandya was ruled out of the Asia Cup final after taking 4 wickets in the tournament and scoring 38 runs in 6 Asia Cup matches against Bangladesh. Due to injury, he had to miss the upcoming tour of Australia.
As a result, Nitish Kumar Reddy has been called up for the ODI series on the Australia tour and is all set to make a comeback in T20Is since the last series in 2024. However, reports also say that Pandya does not need surgery at the moment and will be back in action next month.
