Amid uncertainty and revolving speculation, the upcoming Asia Cup 2025 has now stopped the high-voltage India vs Pakistan struggle, and the Control Board for Cricket in India (BCCI) cannot return due to political or fan pressure.
It is being said that after an important decision at the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) meeting, the High-Voltage India vs Pakistan match will be according to the plan on September 14.

A source of BCCI was stated by IANS, “The BCCI cannot withdraw from the tournament or match. The decision was agreed after the ACC meeting. Since India is a host nation, nothing can be changed at this level. An official level discussion was decided, and the result will be decided as scheduled.”

Meanwhile, the much awaited India vs Pakistan of Pakistan in the Asia Cup 2025 has been under a black cloud. Recently, Yuvraj Singh -led India Champions took out the World Championship of the match of Legends 2025 (WCL 2025) against Pakistan Champions in Birmingham due to social media stories.
High-profile India vs Pakistan Clash was canceled by WCL organizers due to increasing political tension between India and Pakistan after a terrorist attack in Pahgam in April 2025. This bold step has raised questions about whether India can also talk about the Asia Cup 2025 with Pakistan.
So far, BCCI has not made any official statement about the possible boycott in the Continental tournament. But emotions are running high, speculation is increasing. On the other hand, the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has finalized the program for the subcontinental event.

Fans demand BCCI to boycott Pakistan in Asia Cup 2025
On Saturday, July 26, ACC President and PCB President Mohsin Naqvi confirmed that the 17th edition of the Asia Cup would be played between September 9 and 28 September. The tournament will be played in the T20 format as the construction of the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup 2026.
For the first time in the Asia Cup history, eight teams will compete, with Group A with India, Pakistan, UAE and Oman, while Group B includes Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan and Hong Kong. If both teams reach the finals, fan could see India vs Pakistan’s struggle three times in the tournament.
But this news killed 26 people due to tragic Pahgam terror attack among Indian fans on social media. Many fans are tagging the BCCI, demanding that India exits matches against Pakistan.
Some fans have also threatened to boycott the Games. If they move forward, they slam the BCCI to ignore the ongoing tension between the two countries. In particular, India entered the tournament as a defending champion, crushing Sri Lanka in the 2023 finals.
