The Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy 2025 has provided updates of injury through an official statement by the Control Board for Cricket in India (BCCI) after facing injuries to several players.
On Monday, July 21, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) released an official statement and confirmed that star all -rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy had been dropped out of the remaining five -match Test series against the England National cricket team.

So far, the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy has completed three matches in 2025, and the England national cricket team is moving 2–1 in the series.

Meanwhile, Team India’s troubles have increased as 22-year-old all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy has suffered a left knee injury. They are excluded from the entirety of the series and they will fly back home.
The BCCI said in an official media release, “All -rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy has been dropped out of the remaining two tests due to a left knee injury. Nitish will fly back home and the team wishes him a rapid recovery.”
Allegedly, Reddy picked up a left -knee injury on Sunday while training Mobility in the gym, and the scan damaged the ligament.
Nitish Kumar Reddy was not part of India’s play in the first Test in the Leeds, as all -rounder Shardul Thakur was selected.
However, he returned to the second Test match at Edgbaston in Birmingham and scored 1 and 1 runs returning with a 0/29 bowling figures. In the latter Test match at Lord’s in London, Reddy recorded a registered score of 30 and 13 and the bowling figures of 2/62 and 1/20.

Arshdeep Singh got out of the fourth Test and joined Anshul Kamboj Squad
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) further confirmed that the fourth Test match against the England National Cricket Team has refused left -handed pacer Arshdeep Singh, which will begin on July 23 at Old Trafford, Manchester.
Arshdeep must have been remembering the game as he faced his left thumb while bowling in the nets in Bekenham due to “impact injury”. In addition, the young pacer Anshul Kamboj has been added to the Test Squad amidst injury issues.
The BCCI said, “Arshdeep Singh has been dropped from the fourth Test against England in Manchester. He bowled in the nets in a training session in Bekenham and faced an impact injury on his left thumb. The BCCI Medical Team is monitoring his progress,” said the BCCI.
The board said, “The men’s selection committee has added Ansul Kamboj to the squad. Comboj has joined the team in Manchester.”
