Bangladesh announces squad for first two ODIs against Australia; Mosaddek Hussain returns after 4 years

Bangladesh is set to host Australia for a multi-format series this month, starting from June 9 through a 3-match ODI series. The host nation announced its squad for the opening two matches of the series on the evening of 3 June.

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has retained most of its players from the last ODI series, which was against New Zealand. Bangladesh defeated Blackcaps 2-1 in the match.

BCB has appointed Mehdi Hasan Miraz as its captain for the first two ODI matches against Australia. After the ODI series, Bangladesh will also play three T20 matches against Australia from June 17. The ODI series will start on June 9 after the second match on June 11.third And the final match of the competition will be on June 14. All three ODI matches will be held in Dhaka.

After the inclusion of the ODI series, Bangladesh and Australia will face each other for the three-match T20I competition, which will be held in Chattogram from June 17 to June 21.
