Bangladesh announced a schedule for home series against West Indies before T20 World Cup 2026

Cricket West Indies (CWI) announced an exciting white-ball tour of Bangladesh on Monday, September 15, 15 September. Bangladesh and West Indies will play three Odis and three T20i, where both teams will fix their squad beyond the ICC T20 World Cup 2026.

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has confirmed that the three-match ODI series will be played at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka, while the T20I match chatogram will be at Bir Sristaho Flight Lieutenant Material Rahman Cricket Stadium.

West Indies ICC T20 World Cup is ready to visit Bangladesh ahead of 2026

Bangladesh’s West Indies White-Ball Tour will kick with the first ODI on 18 October, followed by the second and last ODI on 20 October and 23 October.

Following the ODI series, both teams will be the major of the chatogram for the three-match T20I series scheduled on 27 October, 30 and 1 November.

This white-ball series is seen as a major opportunity for both Tigers and West Indies, which is to experiment with team line-ups and strategies before the ICC T20 World Cup 2026, which will be hosted jointly by India and Sri Lanka in February next year.

October 18: First OD in Dhaka

October 20: Second Odi in Dhaka

October 23: Third Odi in Dhaka

27 October: First T20i in chatogram

October 30: Second t20i in chatogram

Gear up for West Indies hectic schedule

Meanwhile, the West Indies cricket team is preparing an action-pack and by 2025 with a series of major foreign tourism after hosting Australia and Pakistan at home. His international calendar is packed with 22 matches, as CWI announced its busiest program.

The foreign trip to the West Indies will begin on 27 September, 29 and 30 in Sharjah with a historic three -match T20I series against Nepal. The series will be the first bilateral T20 conflict between Nepal and the West Indies. After which, he will play six white-ball games against the tigers.

His 2025 tour will end with a tour of New Zealand from 5 November to 22 December. New Zealand’s West Indies Tour includes five T20I matches, three ODIs and three Tests. This will be his third test series of the ongoing ICC World Test Championship (WTC) 2025-27 cycle.

West Indies to take India in historic Test Tour

Prior to these tests in New Zealand, the West Indies will face India in their second stability of the WTC 2025-27 cycle. He will play the first Test in Ahmedabad from 2 to 6 October and the second and final Test in Delhi from 10 to 14 October. This is the first Test tour of the West Indies since 2018.

On the other hand, tigers are currently participating in the ongoing Asia Cup 2025 in UAE. Tigers have already played two games, and they have only two points in the Group B table. If they want to make it on a super four stage, Bangladesh will have to defeat Afghanistan in the final group match on Tuesday, September 16, so that it can be made in the next round.

If Afghanistan wins the game, Bangladesh will be abolished from the Asia Cup 2025. From Group A, India had already qualified for the Super Four Round in UAE.
