The Bangladesh pacers united to bowl out Sri Lanka for 255. Pathum Nissanka made a comeback to the ODI side and scored 36. Skipper Kusal Mendia (59) and Janith Liyanage (67) scored runs but there were not enough on the night. Maheesh Theekshana and Wanindu Hasaranga went wicketless with the ball and were expensive as well. The first ODI loss makes the second game a must-win for the Lanksns to keep the series alive.
