In a big boost for Delhi Capitals (DC), captain Axar Patel has been declared fully fit for their crucial Tata Indian Premier League 2026 (Tata IPL 2026) clash against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad on Tuesday (April 21).

Axar Patel left Delhi Capitals injured during their last IPL 2026 match against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), where he had to leave the field due to severe leg cramps.

The all-rounder looked to be in discomfort and even struggled to leave the field, raising serious concerns over his availability for the SRH game. But now DC head coach Hemang Badani has confirmed his participation, saying, “All is well. He is fit to play.”
