Rohit Sharma’s old record of hitting most sixes in the T20 International format has been broken as Austrian batsman Karanbir Singh has claimed the No. 1 spot in the rankings. With 207 sixes, Karanbir Singh is now the batsman with the most number of sixes in the shortest format of the game.
Karanbir Singh broke the record of former India captain Rohit Sharma during Austria’s match against Hungary on Sunday, June 28. Austria national cricket team captain Karanbir hit twelve sixes in this match and rewrote history in world cricket.

Last Sunday, Austria faced Hungary in the T20 match. Batting first, with the help of Karanbir’s inning of 164 runs in 57 balls, Austria made an excellent score of 322 runs for 7 wickets in 20 overs.
