Australian players used new tricks to stop India

India have been insulted by Australian players over their conduct against Pakistan in the Asia Cup 2025. The Indian team was involved in several controversies related to the attacks on Pahalgam as well as their Operation Sindoor.

“We all knew India were on their way, but we’ve identified a key weakness. Now we know they’re not big fans of traditional greetings, so we can take them out before the ball is even bowled,” the KayoSports presenters said.

All-Australian players including Glenn Maxwell, Jake Fraser-McGurk, Josh Hazlewood, Nathan Ellis, Mitchell Marsh and Matt Short, as well as women’s cricketers Alyssa Healy, Alana King, Tahila McGarth and Sophie Molyneux paired up in the special show.

Australia captain Mitchell Marsh commented, “We got Travis Head fingering us in the Ice Cup.”

“We’ve got healing hands, haven’t we, Kingi!!” Alyssa Healy teams up with Alana King for her trademark celebration.

“We’re thinking about popcorn,” Nathan Ellis said, while Matt Short quickly added, “Put some salt on it.”

Josh Hazlewood comes up with ‘The Shooter’ to poke fun at India-Pakistan disputes

Josh Hazlewood has had a long rivalry with the Indian team; However, he is also associated with the IPL, having played with many Indian players in the CSK and RCB camps. Josh was also a part of RCB’s victorious campaign in IPL 2025.

Hazlewood is likely to miss part of the India T20 series but will play alongside Mitchell Starc in the ODIs. Since his return from injury, Josh has been a star performer, and with relatively little involvement from Starc and Cummins, he often emerges as their most experienced player.

This time he has mocked the Indian rivals while giving an early glimpse of the India vs Australia rivalry. “What about the shooter? The shooter!” Josh Hazlewood took a direct dig at India’s troubled relations since the Asia Cup and the recent controversies.
