In an instant, Kohli dived low and caught the ball a few inches above the turf using the reverse cup technique – which was executed to perfection.
The crowd at the SCG erupted as Kohli’s teammates ran towards him in celebration. Kuldeep Yadav has been included in India’s playing eleven in place of injured Nitish Kumar Reddy.
At the time of the toss, India captain Shubman Gill confirmed that he had made two changes in his playing eleven. Injured Kuldeep Yadav has been replaced Nitish Kumar ReddyWhereas Prasidh Krishna came in place of Arshdeep Singh.
“We would have bowled first. Set a target on the total and then try to chase it down, I think we got what we wanted.” Gill said. “Hopefully this game will be good for us. Two changes. Kuldeep and Prasidh come in place of Reddy and Arshdeep.”
