Australia and Bangladesh will face each other in the 17th match of the ongoing ICC Women’s World Cup 2025. The match is scheduled to be played on Thursday (October 16) at the ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium, Visakhapatnam.
Australia have made a strong start to their campaign and will be eyeing another win. With three wins in four matches, they are currently second in the points table. One of their games was abandoned without a ball being bowled.
In their last encounter, Australia set a world record against co-hosts and one of the tournament favourites, India. Australia set a target of 331 runs and achieved the target in 49 overs with the help of its captain Alyssa Healy’s brilliant 142 runs. This was the highest successful chase ever in Women’s ODI.

They will start the upcoming match as underdogs, but will back themselves to deliver a surprise or two.
