The Australia National Cricket Team has announced its ODI and T20I squad for the upcoming high-operate home series against the India National Cricket Team.

Talking about the wicketkeeper-batsmen, Alex Kerry will not be available for the series opener against India as he will play in the second round of the Sheffield Shield for South Australia, while Josh Iglis has been nominated in both squads after he recovered from the stress of the calf. The T20I squad has another major development of Glenn Maxwell, which is below with a wrist injury.

Speaking in an official statement released by Cricket Australia (CA), George Bailey revealed why the selectors have named the T20 Eye Squad for only the first two matches.
The chairman of the selectors said, “We have named a team for the ODI series and the first two games of the T20 series are because there will be some management through the back end of the series as individuals prepare for summer through Shefield Shield cricket.”
“Most of the T20 squad will remain together as it is an important period in construction towards the World Cup next year, although we are trying to make a balance to ensure that we together prepare some individuals further for the test chain.”
