Asia Cup Rising Stars 2025, a new revised version of the former Emerging teams of Asia Cup The tournament is scheduled to begin on Friday, November 14 in Doha. With the participation of eight exciting teams, the tournament promises to showcase the next generation of Asian cricket talent in a fast-paced T20 format.

With cricketing powers like India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka sending strong teams along with competing sides from UAE, Oman, Afghanistan and Hong Kong, the tournament promises to be a perfect blend of skill, excitement and unpredictability.

Asia Cup Rising Stars 2025: Format

The eight participating teams are divided into two groups of four each:

Group A

  • Sri Lanka A

group b

Each team will play the other three teams in its group once. After the group stage, the top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals.

  • The Group A winner will take on the Group B runner-up
  • Group B winner will face Group A runner-up

The winners of these semi-finals will then meet in the final, where the Rising Stars champion will be crowned.

Afghanistan A, the defending champions from the last edition, are entering the tournament with confidence – but it will not be easy for them to defend the title. With India A fielding one of their strongest teams in years, the fight for the trophy is expected to be intense.
