asia cup rising stars 2025What was previously known as the Emerging Asia Cup is set to showcase the best young cricket talent from Asia. The tournament celebrates the rising stars across eight Asian countries and serves as a platform for future cricket greats to compete in the T20 format. This year’s competition will take place from November 14 to November 23, 2025, at the West End International Cricket Stadium in Doha, Qatar.
Asia Cup Rising Stars 2025: Format
The eight teams in the tournament have been divided into two groups of four each. Each team will play the other three teams in its group once, for a total of 15 matches. The top two teams from each group advance to the semi-finals, where the winner of Group A takes on the runner-up of Group B and vice versa, culminating in the final on 23 November.
In Group A, the teams are Bangladesh A, Sri Lanka A, Afghanistan A (reigning champions) and Hong Kong. Group B includes India A, Pakistan A, UAE and Oman. After a tough encounter between the senior teams in the recent Senior Asia Cup, one of the most awaited matches is the clash between India A and Pakistan A on 16th November.
