There is a need for great talent but coherent opportunities – Abdur Rauf Khan on Sahabzada Farhan
In a recently shared post on his social media, former Pakistan player Abdur Rauf Khan slammed Shoaib Malik to reduce young cricketers and question his ability.
Abdur Rauf Khan praised Sam Ayub and Sahibzada Farhan, but said that there is a need to improve their stability later. He said:
“These Pakistani cricketers nonsense about young talented players representing Pakistan. Shoaib Malik said about Sayam Ayub and others that he can never become a utility bowler, while I am seeing when he himself joined the Pakistan team, he was not a bowler nor a good bat in the early part of his career.
“He was given a continuous opportunity by Wasim Akram and others without any burden on him and he was developed as a utility player.
“Another player Sahibzada Farhan is also a great talent, but there is a constant opportunity on true pitches.”
