Arshdeep Singh to replace Jasprit Bumrah in India’s ODI squad for Australia Tour
Australia’s ODI’s India Tour as well as being selected for the T20I squad, Arshdeep Singh is finally ready to get the game time. The Indian Pacer, Jasprit Bumrah, has been rested from Odis once again in view of his charge.
Bumrah has been acting for India continuously in all series since the tour of England and hence it has been removed from 3 Odis, but is fully prepared to play the 5-Match T20I series. With playing the ODI World Cup in 2027, Bumrah’s focus is only on the smallest format due to the ICC T20 World Cup to be played in 2026.
So Arshdeep Mohammad can be pairing with Siraj. However, the choice of Harshit Rana and Prasad Krishna has also been selected for a day against Australia.
Will Arshdeep Singh return to India’s T20I Shee after being neglected in the Asia Cup?
Ever since Gautam Gambhir was appointed Indian coach, he has repeatedly snatched Arshdeep from the Indian T20 Eye bowling side. Although it is India’s most successful pace in the shortest format, it was taken away from India’s main XI in the Asia Cup.
