Arshdeep Singh is on the verge of earning his first Test cap, as India is set to face England in the fifth and final match of Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy, starting at Oval on 31 July. The left -arm pacer, which was sidelined with a hand injury, has now achieved complete fitness.
Arshdeep Singh was not included in the first three trials of the ongoing series against England. However, he was in queue to start in the fourth Test in Manchester, when the Akash Deep faced the back issue of the waist.
Arshdeep’s hopes collapsed when he raised a thumb injury during an exercise session in Bekenham, excluding him from the dispute. In the absence of Arshdeep, Ansul Kambali conducted his test for India.

“He has patiently a hard yard, and I may seem biased, but he is entitled to the Test cap. If not in England, where?”
