In the third over, Arshdeep Singh bowled a short ball to KL Rahul and the DC opener tried to pull it towards deep square leg. The ball went high in the air and it seemed like it was an easy catch. Shashank Singh was standing near the boundary and came into position.

Shashank stepped back a little and tried to take the catch using the reverse cup technique. But the matter went wrong at the last moment. The ball left his hand and went for the boundary, leaving Arshdeep embarrassed and angry as the Punjab fast bowler had already started celebrating.
