Next to the upcoming Asia Cup 2025, the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) announced a white ball series with the Bangladesh National Cricket Team. The Afghanistan National Cricket Team is currently gearing up for the Asia Cup 2025, which starts on 9 September in the UAE.
He has been drafted in Group B with Bangladesh, Hong Kong and Sri Lanka for the upcoming Continental tournament. The Afghan side will shut down its Asia Cup 2025 campaign against Hong Kong, China at Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
Afghanistan set Bangladesh in the White-Ball series after Asia Cup 2025

Both teams are ready to play three T20 Eye and three Odis. The White-Ball series will begin with a three-match T20I series, with the prescribed matches on October 2, 3 and 5. On the other hand, BCB CEO Nizamuddin Chaudhary said, “We are ready to move to the Afghan side what is the promise to have a competitive and exciting white ball chain in the UAE.”

ACB announces squad for Asia Cup 2025
Meanwhile, ACB also announced the team for the upcoming Asia Cup 2025 on Sunday, August 24. He has chosen experienced campaigners and emerging players in his 17 -member squad led by Rashid Khan for the upcoming T20I tournament in UAE.
In particular, the Afghan side will play all their groups against Hong Kong, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh in Abu Dhabi. Before facing Hong Kong in his tournament opener, he will play the T20I TRAI-Nation series against the UAE and Pakistan starting on 29 August.
