The former England legend was one of the biggest attractions of the Big Bash League during his time with Brisbane Heat in the 2014-15 season. Flintoff’s aggressive style, fearless attitude and flamboyant personality made him a fan favorite in Australia.
Since retiring from playing, Flintoff has gradually built a coaching career. He recently worked with England Lions As head coach, he served as a consultant for England in 2023, assistant coach in the 2024 T20 World Cup and batting coach in Tests for a few series.
Flintoff was also the head coach of the Northern Superchargers in the 2024 and 2025 editions of The Hundred competition.
