Indian bowling unit failed in 1 test
For the first Test match between India and England, there was a great one to bat on the surface in Headingly, and the batsmen of both teams scored a lot of runs.
The Indian bowling unit was taken by Jasprit Bumrah in the first innings as the Paes Spearhead raced for a sensational 5-iced despite not getting much support from others.
Bumrah banned the English batsmen from scoring at a quick speed, and also took wickets, but did not get the desired support from his fellow colleagues.
Although Prasad Krishna took three wickets in the innings, he was very expensive, scored 128 runs in 20 overs in the 6.40 economy, and Mohammad Sirj took two wickets.
In the second innings, the England batsmen successfully chased 371 runs and managed to neutralize the threat of Jasprit Bumrah and guaranteed themselves a win.
Premier pacers Bumrah and Mohammad Siraj became wicket -free to defend the score, and even though Prasad Krishna (2/92), Shardul Thakur (51/2), and Ravindra Jadeja (1/104) took wickets, they were quite expensive.
We are learning from each other – Prasad Krishna
Speaking to the media before the second Test in Edgbaston in Birmingham, Prasad Krishna said that there is a great culture in Team India where all the players are learning from each other, and Pace-Bauling Great Jasprit Bumrah has interacted with everyone.
“The culture that we have created. We are learning from each other, no matter who is or who is. And who is. Birmingham, as quoted by Toi.
“If you look at the team, everyone is here. Siraj has played a lot of games, he is continuing to play, and whatever comes – or whatever happens later – this is a great experience and an opportunity. That’s the way we see it,” he said.
Dressing room is still positive – Prasad Krishna
Giving an update on the Indian dressing room, Prasad Krishna said that the atmosphere remains positive with everyone, which is inspired to give his best for the side.
“The dressing room is still positive, happy, and very, very inspired. As I said, we came here what this opportunity means for all of us. And even in the game even today, we must have been silent many times, but I think we still had a plan,” he said.
“We wanted to do something, and we went to do it – we got two wickets in a cluster, twice. So that inspiration was continued. And then, you know, as a bowling unit, when something is happening, we are still finishing the new ball. They needed about 20 runs, but we were still working that we were working again.
