In a significant development for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) Fast bowler Yash DayalThe Allahabad High Court has provided him with interim security from arrest in the sexual abuse case. 27 -year -old cricketer, who has recently attracted national attention to his important performance Indian Premier League (IPL)A division bench received temporary relief which included Justices Siddharth Verma and Anil Kumar. This protective order will remain effective until the next scheduled hearing, offering a significant recurrence between legal proceedings.
“One cannot be fooled for five years”: Allahabad High Court
The court’s decision given during a hearing on Tuesday not only took any tremendous action against Dayal, but also included notable comments about the prolonged nature of the alleged relationship. The bench expressed doubts, comments, “You could be fooled for 1 day, 2 days or 3 days, but 5 years? You are entering a relationship for five years, one cannot be fooled for five years.” These comments suggest the initial reservation of the court about the story of the complainant regarding the period of alleged deception and the circumstances.
The origins of the case have been registered at the Indirapuram police station in Ghaziabad on 6 July in the first information report (FIR). The complaint was filed under Section 69 of the Joint Code of India (BNS), a provision that addresses the intercourse obtained through misleading means. According to a woman from Ghaziabad, who filed a complaint, she was in a relationship with Dayal for a five -year period. His allegations include claims that the cricketer repeatedly made promises of marriage, even presented her as his future daughter-in-law from his family. He further said that under this hypocrisy, Dayal exploits him emotionally, mentally and physically. The complainant gave detailed examples of alleged physical violence and mental harassment when he faced Dayal about his intentions. He additionally stated that he was emotionally and economically dependent on him and later discovered his alleged involvement with other women.

Yash Dayal’s legal strategy
Yash Dayal, a prominent man in the victory of RCB’s historic IPL title earlier this year, denied all the allegations against him. The cricketer claims that he has enough evidence to refute the claims made by the complainant. In an active step, Dayal filed a counter-complaint with the prayer police. In his counter-analyst, he accused the stolen woman especially citing the disappearance of her iPhone and laptop. In addition, Dayal claimed that the woman borrowed money from her under false excuse, and she presented what she describes as a material to support her defense.
Following these developments, Dayal demanded intervention from the Allahabad High Court, not only to stay on his possible arrest, but also for the complete questioning of the FIR filed against him. After focusing on the presentations presented by both the cricketer’s legal team and the opposing side, the High Court proceeded to issue notice to all relevant parties. It consists of Uttar Pradesh government, Ghaziabad police officer and complainant themselves. These parties have been directed to register their response to Dayal’s petition. Until these reactions are duly obtained and the later hearing is fully reviewed, the interim protection given to Dayal will remain in force, which will prevent any immediate immediate action against the lead fast bowler.
