Texas Super Kings (TSK) spinner Akeal Hosein scored a sensational hat-trick in the final over against Washington Freedom in the Major League Cricket 2026 (MLC 2026) at the Oakland Coliseum in Oakland on Sunday, June 28.
Needing only six runs from the last over, Washington Freedom was close to snatching victory. But Hosein turned the match in favor of Texas Super Kings.

The left-arm spinner first dismissed Marco Johnson, then dismissed Amila Aponso on the very next ball and completed a memorable hat-trick by sending back Asif Mahmood in the last over.
Three wickets in three balls almost ended Washington Freedom’s hopes in their Major League Cricket 2026 clash against Texas Super Kings. However, Hosein’s magical final went in vain as Nikhil Choudhary hit a brilliant six off the last ball to end the match for Washington Freedom.
