Akash ends deep Ben Docket’s explosive innings
English openers Zak Croly and Ben Docket blew all guns on day 2 and demolished the Indian pace bowling unit with their attacker brand cricket.
Bazballing openers did not allow Indian bowlers to settle and played some unaccoves along with aggressive batting to create a solid 92-run stand in 78 balls.
Docket fell near Akash on the fifth ball of the 13th over going to the aggressive reverse scoop. Akash Deep removed a complete delivery, removing the docket, which tried to continue his reverse-scoop rampage.
However, this time, he was unable to execute the shot properly and left behind one directly in the glove of Indian wicketkeeper Dhruv Juril.
Akash Deep celebrated aggressively in front of Docket with a fist pump and then placed his hand around the shoulder of the English opener.
Some words were exchanged between Docket and Akash as an English opener. Although this aggression was controlled, KL Rahul ensured that Sand-off did not make the drama and pulled the pacer back.

I am not sure that the bowler should put his hand around the batsman – Michael Atherton
Speaking on Sky Sports, former captain Michael was angry to see Docket sending Docket to Deep.
“I am not sure that the bowler should put his hand around the batsman, thrown him out, whether he was in good souls or not. He was dragged away properly,” Ettyart said.
Former India wicketkeeper-batsman Dinesh Karthik said of the wicket, “It was a thrill-e-minten innings from docket. It is not often that you see a opener playing a reverse scoop to get out in a Test match and is still being appreciated back on your way.”
Attarton unnecessarily labeled Deep’s sand-off, while Dinesh Karthik felt that this was not the right job.
“He sent a little to Docket, which is probably unnecessary, but it is a wicket that India wanted hard. How many times a bowler put his hand all around after dismissing you, DK?”
Dinesh Karthik said, “I am not sure this is the right way to send a batsman, especially when you take him out.
