Akash Deep’s performance against England in Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy
Akash Deep played three Test matches against England, where he took a total of 13 wickets. He gave his best bowling performance during the second Test at Edgbaston. The right -handed fast bowler took 10 wickets in two innings.
Akash also made a valuable contribution with the bat. In particular, he recorded his first half century in Test cricket during the Oval Test. He scored 66 runs and shared a 107 -run partnership with Yashsvi Jaiswal. India posted a competitive team, which proved to be enough for them.
