Indian fast bowler Akash Deep has broken his silence on the ongoing student protests in Delhi. Akash says that protesting is a part of the constitutional right, which should be done in a peaceful manner, so that no harm is caused to others.
Many Indian cricketers have already raised their voice on the burning topic nationwide, which has also gained popularity among international media houses. On July 24, through news agency ANI, Akash Deep expressed his views on the ongoing protests by students regarding the NEET paper leak.

On the topic of students’ protests, the Indian fast bowler mentioned that protesting is a part of the constitutional right. He confidently says that whatever the government has promised will be good for the students.
Akash Deep says, “Protesting is a constitutional right. I feel everything is better if done peacefully. Students should also not suffer any harm. I am 100% confident that the commitment made by the government will be in favor of the students.”
“Students and players are the future”: Akash Deep supports students
Akash Deep further says that students and players are the future of the country, hence it is the duty of both the citizens and the government to respect their sentiments. The star fast bowler also said that students should also show equal responsibility.

Shubman Gill also said on the students’ protest
Yesterday on July 23, India’s ODI and Test captain Shubman Gill shared his views on this issue through Instagram Story. The Captain supported every student to shape their future on the right path.
He expressed his confidence in peace, compassion and mutual respect to move forward. Like Akash Deep, Shubman Gill also said that education has the power to shape the future of the country.
Shubman Gill wrote on his Instagram Story, “Education has the power to shape the future of our country. I hope we move forward with compassion, mutual respect and keep the best interests of every student in mind for the future of India.”
Former cricketers like the great Sachin Tendulkar, Yuvraj Singh, Shikhar Dhawan and Irfan Pathan also issued statements on the students’ protest. Protest of students continues in Delhi regarding NEET paper leak. There are several instances where peace and law were allegedly violated.
The demand for removal of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over the paper leak incidents gradually gained momentum as protesters from across the country gathered in Delhi to show their discontent.
At present, the central government of India and the protesting students have not been able to reach any agreement to resolve this matter.
