India received positive news before the start of the third day of the fourth Test against England at Old Trafford, Manchester. Pacers Akash Deep and Arshdeep Singh, who were dropped from the ongoing Test match, were seen on the ground during the pre-day warm-up.
Under the leadership of Shubman Gill, India made several changes in its playing XI for the ongoing match. India on the last leg at the end of day 2 in Manchester Test
India was on the back leg at the end of day 2 in Manchester. England reached 225/2 in response to visitors’ first innings of 358 runs. The Indian bowlers fought to maintain constant pressure, allowing the hosts to settle and score quickly.
Tilt the series 2–1 in favor of England, the test is a win for Shubman Gill’s side. A disadvantage will hand over the series to the host, while a win will put India in the fight and push the competition into a decisive.
Kuldeep Yadav’s continuous absence from playing with XI is talking one thing. The left-arm wrist-spinner has not been given any opportunity in the series so far. India has chosen diversity in the bowling department, instead to strengthen its batting line-up.
