During the announcement of the squad, Ajit Agkar said that all the selected players met fitness requirements. Agrakar insisted that every player including Virat Kohli had completed the necessary assessment and was fully fit for selection.

“I think they have suggested both their fitness tests or fitness criteria. Again, I want Adrian whether there were here or someone in the team was there. As far as I know or the selectors know, they have passed through the required criteria, which are put in place,” the foreer told reporters.
