The 37 -year -old India National Cricket Team has made a big statement on the retirement of Cheteshwar Pujara from outside batsman Ajinkya Rahane.
The last of India’s test purisists were Cheteshwar Pujara on August 24, Sunday, declared retirement from cricket in all forms.

Rajkot -born batsman Pujara started the Test for the India National Cricket Team at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on October 9, 2010 against the Australia National Cricket Team.

Out of that, he went to play a total of 103 Test matches for the country, with his last appearance in June 2023 against Australia at Kennington Oval, London.
He scored 7195 runs in his mythological career at an average of 43.60, with 19 centuries and 35 fifties, and the best score of 206*.
Cheteshwar Pujara was a batsman with a classical technology who batted his career wholesale at number 3 and became the mainstay of the Indian Test team for more than a decade.
He emerged as an ideal successor for Rahul Dravid and played some incredible match-defaulting knocks, especially under foreign circumstances, to become the team’s most trusted batsman in the longest living format of the game.
Although his performance declined in the following stages of his career, he established a legacy in Test cricket, which would never be forgotten. Pujara finished his career as the only Indian batsman in Test history to face 500+ balls in an innings and Indian players with the highest test win in Army countries – 11.

Reacting to Cheteshwar Pujara’s retirement, his long -time team partner Ajinkya Rahane faced X to wish batsman luck for his second innings. Ajinkya Rahane also said that he would always cherish the time spent with Cheteshwar Pujara.
