The much-awaited final between India and Pakistan ended in favor of men in Blue, as Shivam Dubey Richuel won the impact player medal in the Indian dressing room for his all-rounder Brilliens with balls as well as some stressful moments in the game.
Hardik Pandya was excluded from the final due to injury, despite that Gautam Gambhir liked the depth of batting and left Arshdeep Singh from the shore, so only one frontline Pacer, Jasprit, chose Jasprit for Bumrah. However, no one knew that all-rounder Shivam Dubey, who succeeded with the ball in this Asia Cup, was something special under his belt.
Shivam Dubey selected as a player for Asia Cup final
India won the Asia Cup final by Pakistan bowlers after the challenge of the neck and neck. After the Indian top order failed to give him a promising start, the major part of the job fell large on finisars, who had not yet had much to do in the Asia Cup version.
In the absence of Hardik Pandya and Rinku Singh played his first match in the version, Indians largely depended on CSK all -rounder Shivam Dubey. And for Dubey, it was his night. Marking Hardik’s unavailability, he bowled 2 important overs in Powerplay, shared a new ball with Jasprit Bumrah.
Although he ended the wicket in the game, he looked more effective than the part -time seam bowler. With the bat, Dube scored a Quickfire 33, but his huge sixes helped India gain momentum in his chase, which eliminated him easily.
“I was 100% under pressure to bowl in the first over” – Shivam Dubey
Shivam Dube won the player medal for his overall impressive performance in the game. Abhishek Sharma received a player’s tournament award for his terrible supremacy with BAT, while Tilak Verma was the match player after his commanding, knocking 69 runs.
“To bowl in the first over, I was under great pressure, I could not lie. I was very scared, but many people supported me. During the match, my entire focus at that time was my full attention on bowling. I enjoyed it very much, and yes, I am very grateful for the Impact Player Medal. Thank you!” Shivam Dubey said in his speech after being nominated by the player for the game.

Abhishek Sharma was declared as a tournament player
Although many Indian players had a great record in this Asia Cup for India, Abhishek Sharma was considered a player of the tournament. It was for one person whom India won matches in the Super -4 stages.
However, the records of Batter Tilak Verma and especially spinner Kuldeep Yadav are also impressive. Kuldeep took 17 wickets in 7 matches with a match of 2 4-cicat halls and 2 players. Whenever India needs wickets, it was a bowler Skipper Suryakumar Yadav.
The BCCI has announced a prize money of 21 crore for the winning Indian side members in the Asia Cup.
