Team India recently faced defeat by four wickets against England at Sophia Gardens in Cardiff. The Harry Brook-led side leveled the series 1-1. The experienced batsman scored a well-deserved half-century, but the visitors were all out for just 233 runs. To win the series, the Men in Blue will have to win the series decider at Lord’s.

After the Indian team reached London, the players got off the team bus and entered the team hotel. However, Kohli did not join his teammates in the lobby. He sat in a waiting private car and drove away separately.

The batsman was reportedly on his way to his family home in London. He moved his home to the United Kingdom in early 2024 with his wife, Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma, and their two children, Vamika and Akaye.
Kohli has been living in the United Kingdom to avoid the constant attention of paparazzi and fans that he experiences in India. He can live his daily life in London’s Notting Hill in privacy and without frequent public disruption.
