Suryakumar Yadav made a controversial comment regarding the Pahalgam Valley attacks, which led to a political uproar and the Indian captain was fined 30% of his match fee by the ICC for uttering those words.

Haris Rauf was recently given two suspension points after he was found committing such an offense twice within 24 months, first on the 14th and then on the 28th of October. Due to this, he had to face a ban of two matches in the ongoing ODI series against South Africa.

Despite the move being rightly rejected as per ICC norms, Tanvir Ahmed, a former cricketer, claimed that if he had been the president of the body, he would have imposed a 30-match ban on Suryakumar Yadav for his claims and banned him from playing any game.

Pakistani cricketer accuses Jay Shah of politics and favoritism within ICC

The former Pakistan cricketer, who played less than 10 matches for the national team, holds the unique record of taking 5 wickets in his debut match. In a recent interview given to a Pakistani channel, he has made vile allegations against the current ICC Chairman Jay Shah.

Before taking charge at ICC, Jay Shah was the former secretary of BCCI. He further claimed, “If it was one of our players (Pakistani player), he would have served a ban of at least 25-30 days,” the former player claimed.

He further said, ‘Ever since Jay Shah and the Indians have come to the ICC, they have brought political bias within the ICC.He has made fun of the International Cricket Council.”

BCCI to raise Asia Cup trophy controversy at ICC meeting on Friday

BCCI had recently warned ACC Chairman Mohsin Naqvi during the annual general meeting of the international body about escalating the Asia Cup trophy dispute in the ICC meeting. The first two days have passed and BCCI has not taken any action yet.
