On Friday, Taliban officials claimed that Pakistan violated the terms of the ceasefire by carrying out airstrikes on Afghan territory in just 48 hours, killing 10 people; Of these, 3 were young Afghan cricketers.
The Afghanistan Cricket Board confirmed the development of deaths of cricketers as a result of these attacks and immediately withdrew from the tri-series against Pakistan, which was to be played under the supervision of the PCB from 17 November.
BCCI and ICC issued statements condoling the death of the three cricketers.
After the incident occurred, both the BCCI and ICC issued separate statements condoling the demise of the three cricketers and expressed their solidarity with the Afghanistan Cricket Board.

ACB reminds ICC to take action against Pakistan for this heinous crime

Pakistan names Zimbabwe as replacement for Afghanistan in tri-series
After Afghanistan pulled out of the T20 series, the Pakistan Cricket Board was not thinking of giving up their hopes from the tri-series as they immediately started eliminating the teams available during the window.
According to reports, Zimbabwe has agreed to Pakistan’s invitation and will join Pakistan and Sri Lanka as the third team in the tri-series. The tournament schedule will remain the same from November 17 to November 29, with only Zimbabwe replacing Afghanistan in the matches.
