Afghanistan Cricket Board has announced its squad for the upcoming Asia Cup Rising Stars. India and Pakistan had announced their teams yesterday, along with the complete schedule of their matches was also released.
The Rising Stars Asia Cup tournament squad will include several countries that also participated in the Asia Cup 2025. The tournament is scheduled to be played in Doha, Qatar from 14 to 23 November.
India A has announced its team, in which RCB wicketkeeper batsman Jitesh Sharma has been appointed as the captain of the team. The Indian team will face Pakistan for the first time after the Asia Cup final on October 28.

Afghanistan Cricket Board has revealed its squad for the upcoming Asia Cup Rising Stars 2025. The national selection committee has finalized the Afghan Abdalyan team, the defending champions of the tournament.
Darwish Rasooli has been made the captain of the Afghan Abdalyan team. He had given the inaugural title to the Afghan team last year. Fast bowler Abdullah Ahmadzai, who made his debut in all three formats of the game for Afghanistan against Zimbabwe, has also been included in the squad.
Sediqullah Atal, who was part of Afghanistan’s squad in the Asia Cup, has also been selected for the Afghan Abdalyan squad in the Rising Stars Asia Cup 2025.

The ACB team includes 10 players from the previous title-winning team.
The ACB has announced its squad, which includes a total of ten players who were part of the winning team during the previous edition of the tournament. Sediqullah Atal, AM Ghazanfar, Bilal Sami, Zubaid Akbari, Mohammad Ishaq, Qais Ahmed and Nangyal Kharoti are among the players who have been part of both the teams.
Afghanabdalyan have been drawn in Pool B along with Sri Lanka A, Bangladesh A and Hong Kong China, a similar arrangement to the Asia Cup 2025. While Pool A includes India A, Pakistan A, UAE and Oman.

Afghanistan reveals the schedule of Asia Cup Rising Stars tournament
Mr. Naseeb Khan, CEO of ACB, said, “Afghan Abdalyan has been victorious in the previous edition of the event and will be defending its title during this year’s event in Doha. We cherish the memories of last year, and with the aim of retaining the title, we have named our team. I am confident that the team will perform well and make the country proud once again.”
They have also unveiled the schedule of Afghanistan A, which will play three group-stage matches against Sri Lanka A, Bangladesh A and finally Hong Kong China. The three matches are scheduled on 15 November, 17 November and finally 19 November.
The semi-finals will be played on 21 November and the final on 23 November.
