Former cricketer Atiq-Uz-Zaman criticized the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) President Mohsin Naqvi after the match between Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the Asia Cup 2025. Zaman took the social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter) to tell that the players were struggling in sweat -soaked, low -quality jersey.
The former cricketer also mentioned that other teams obtained appropriate dry-fit kits and blamed the issue on tenders to be honored to friends rather than professionals.
Zaman wrote, “Pakistan players are sweating through low quality kits, while others wear proper dry-fit. This is when tenders go to friends, not professionals. Corruption dripping more than sweat,” Zaman wrote.
Fans said that they had also paid attention to the inferior kits of Pakistan. The PCB website does not list any official kit sponsor for the national team, although other sponsors such as Pepsi, TCL and Parkview City are mentioned.
Pakistan Book Place in Super Four Stage of Asia Cup 2025
Pakistan won 41 runs over UAE on Wednesday to book its place in the Super Four Stage of Asia Cup 2025. The Men in Green will face India again in the Super Four Stage. India had already made qualified after its victory over Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates.
