India National cricket team star player Abhishek Sharma finally redeemed himself after two huge blunders in the ongoing Asia Cup 2025 match against Pakistan National Cricket Team.
Abhishek Sharma dismissed Pakistan batsman Sam Ayub in the Asia Cup 2025 Super Four match at Dubai International Stadium.
Abhishek Sharma gives two lifeline to Pakistan
Punjab boy Abhishek Sharma had a terrible time on the field against Pakistan in a super four match. He is considered a great fieldingman and is quite reliable on the field.
Being a youth with good fitness, Abhishek is known to cover the ground easily by running fast and taking stunning catch.
However, a separate version of Abhishek was seen in the match against Salman Aga -led side. On the third ball of the match, Abhishek dropped Sahibzada Farhan, which proved to be quite expensive for India.
Sahibzada played a hock across the line with Hardik Pandya in the first over, and Edge flew towards the third man, where Abhishek Sharma got an opportunity to catch a simple catch, but he messed up and dropped the catch.
Then, on the third ball of the 8th over, Abhishek lost a difficult opportunity in the long-on, where he jumped, tried to reach the ball with one hand, but the ball left the boundary line.
Meanwhile, Abhishek Sharma rescued himself in the 11th over by putting himself a stunning catch to send the Saim Ayub back. On the third ball of the over, Sam Ayub made a delivery from Shivam Dubey and the ball went into the air.
Abhishek Sharma came running from the deep backward square, further diverted, and took a stunning catch with both hands to send the batsman packing for 21 runs.

He is a very exciting player – Abhishek Sharma appreciated by the former cricketer
Speaking in front of India vs Pakistan Clash, former cricketer Surinder Khanna praised left -handed batsman Abhishek Sharma.
Surinder Khanna said that Abhishek Sharma is an exciting player and a great stroke maker, but was not completely satisfied with his performance.
He felt that Abhishek needs to convert his good start into a big score and to prove to the team to play a long innings that he is a great player.
“He is a very exciting player. And his stroke game is very good, on the new game. He is starting, convert it into a big score.
“If you score 25-30 runs, and play big, you can’t stay there for a long time. Because if you keep good players out, you get a chance. So you get a chance. So you have to play a long innings. Whether he comes or not, it’s on him,” Surinder Khanna told Annie.
