During an episode of The Cricket Talk Show Game on the gameShoaib Akhtar accidentally called India opener Abhishek Sharma “Abhishek Bachchan”, while discussing Pakistan’s view in the final of the Asia Cup. He said that the middle order of India would struggle after an initial dismissal.
Akhtar said, “If Pakistan comes out quickly in a fictional position to Abhishek Bachchan, what is going to happen with the middle order? His order has not performed well,” Akhtar said.
The mistake inspired the laughter from the hosts and guests, who quickly clarified that he was referring to Sharma. The clip on social media quickly went viral before the India-Pakistan struggle.
