India captain Shubman Gill has retained his ninth place in the ICC Test batting rankings after scoring his fourth century in the ongoing Test series against England. Meanwhile, wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant finished seventh in the ranking after his impressive batting performance.
Shubman Gill played an important role in getting a draw for India in the fourth Test in Manchester. He scored 103 off 238 balls in the second innings. Shubman Gill is the leading run-goldter in the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy, scoring 722 runs in eight innings in an impressive 90.25, including four centuries.

Rishabh Pant has become the highest ranked Indian batsman in the ICC Test rankings. He is now in seventh place after scoring fifty in the first innings of the fourth Test in Manchester, where he batted with a fracture toe. Pants scored 54 runs in that innings.

Mehidi Hasan Miraj and Ben Stokes are second and third in all-rounders standing respectively. England captain Ben Stokes, who was nominated for the Player of the Match for his centenary and five-wicket halls in the fourth Test, finished eight spots in the batting rankings.
Washington Sundar, who did his first Test hundred at Old Trafford and took two wickets, also made significant jump in the all -rounders rankings. He stepped into eight places to reach joint 13th position.
Abhishek Sharma becomes world number 1 in ICC T20I batting rankings
Team India Batter Abhishek Sharma has reached the top of the ICC T20I batting rankings. India’s 24 -year -old left -handed batsman crossed the Australian opener Travis Head, who took over for more than a year.
After Virat Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav, Sharma has become the only third Indian male cricketer to conduct the number 1 T20 eye batter rankings.
India has not recently played T20I. The left -handed batsman was promoted to the rankings due to the absence of Travis Head from Australia’s recent T20I series against the West Indies, due to which the head left Standing.
