Pakistan’s fast bowler Ihsanullah has given a stern warning to India’s Test and ODI captain Shubman Gill and Abhishek Sharma, which has now gone viral on social media. After confidently claiming that if he ever faced Abhishek Sharma in the match, the contest would barely last an over, Ihsanullah launched a fresh attack on India’s batting sensibilities.
Abhishek Sharma was the standout star for India in the Asia Cup 2025. He played an important role in India’s title win. The 25-year-old batsman finished the tournament as the leading run scorer with 314 runs in seven matches, including three fifties, and maintained an incredible strike rate close to 200.

His consistent performances were a major factor in India’s success under the captaincy of Suryakumar Yadav in the continental tournament in the UAE. Although Abhishek failed to score big in the final against Pakistan, scoring only five runs, he dominated almost every other game.

The left-handed opening batsman was particularly dangerous against Pakistan’s fast bowlers, having handled their pace with ease in the recent Asia Cup 2025. The Punjab player’s aggressive stroke play and confidence at the crease made him one of the most dangerous opening batsmen in the world.
Ihsanullah, on the other hand, first caught attention during the 2023 Pakistan Super League (PSL), when he bowled at a speed of 152.65 kmph. That performance helped him progress rapidly, before injuries earned him opportunities in white-ball cricket for Pakistan.

Meanwhile, Ihsanullah has made another sensational comment against world number one T20 batsman Abhishek Sharma and Shubman Gill. While Abhishek has proven that he can bowl high quality and perform under pressure with his fearless batting and ability to dominate the bowlers, Shubman Gill is an equally talented and aggressive batsman across all formats.
In a viral video, Ihsanullah threatened to show off his pace when he was asked why the Pakistan pacer thinks he can destroy Gill and Abhishek within a few overs. The fast bowler said that they all have “two legs and two hands” and that is enough for them to show who is the best in the world.

He also said that there is no difference in the level between him and the Indian batting stars. Ihsanullah even mentioned Haris Rauf, who was brutally beaten by Gill and Abhishek in the Asia Cup 2025, as he mentioned him and the latter as the only lethal fast bowlers Pakistan currently has.

Currently, Gill and Shubman are preparing for the upcoming white-ball series in Australia.
While the left-handed batsman is part of the T20 squad, Gill is all set to make his ODI captaincy debut in Australia on October 19 in Perth. Gill recently led India to a 2-0 Test series win over West Indies at home.
