25 -year -old India National cricket team explosive opening batsman Abhishek Sharma has re -written history with his epic performance in the Asia Cup 2025.

Abhishek Sharma has overtaken Virat Kohli and Mohammad Rizwan with the highest run under his belt in a version of the T20 Asia Cup.

Abhishek once again launched a cruel attack on the bowlers in the powerplay and sent the India National Cricket Team for a flying start.

He reached half -century milestone with just 22 balls and was not in the mood to stop after that. The opener continued to hit and finally Charith fell to Asanka in the 9th position of the innings.

On the fourth ball of the 9th over, Abhishek did a short delivery from Charith Asanka and did not do it in the middle with the bat.

The ball went to the deep middle wicket, where Kamindu Mendis posted himself on the edge of the rope and securely caught a good to send Abhishek Sharma back.

The Indian opener scored a sensational 61 runs off 31 balls, with eight fours and two sixes.
