Indian mythological wicket-keeper batsman MS Dhoni is celebrating his 44th birthday on 7 July today. The entire cricket fraternity has come together to appreciate legend on his birthday for all its contributions in the game.
MS Dhoni played on the Indian side for about one and a half decades, in which he was part of 538 matches in all three formats. He captained India for winning three ICC Trophy and himself scored 17,266 runs and was part of 829 dismissal throughout his career.

South African legend has recalled his game days against Indian legend MS Dhoni, while speaking on Geohotstar’s special show ‘7 Shades of MS Dhoni’. The show was dedicated to the legendary cricketer on his 44th birthday.
AB de Villiers talks about his great respect for MS Dhoni, which he played not only in the colors of South Africa but also in the IPL. Dhoni, an experienced CSK, has played several games against AB de Villiers, which was part of the Royal Challengers Bangalore setup for years.

MS Dhoni- the only captain with all three ICC limited overs title

With his brilliant career as a captain, he was a stunning batsman for India several times. Keeping in mind his immense contribution to the game of cricket, MS Dhoni was included in the ICC Hall of Fame in 2025, with six other cricketers including Graeme Smith, Matthew Hayden, Hashim Amla, Daniel Vetory, Sanaa Mir and Sara Taylor.
