‘ODI Cricket=Virat Kohli’
Kohli has been in great form recently in the 50 over format. In his last five matches, he has scored three centuries and two half-centuries. This strong performance includes two centuries and a half-century in the ODI series against South Africa. This comeback is all the more special because Kohli had to face a lot of difficulties during the Australia tour, where he was out for zero twice in three matches.
Since then, the flamboyant right-hander has made a strong comeback. And now Goswami mentioned how Kohli is setting high standards in ODI cricket. The former Bengal star said Kohli’s century for Delhi is clear proof that he remains a major force in the 50-over format.
Goswami posted on Twitter: “After 2 consecutive ducks in Australia, people thought Virat Kohli was finished, but such is the class of this man. In the last 5 fifty over matches, he has scored 74*, 135, 102, 65* and 131. You can’t count him out. Said it before, will say it again. ODI cricket = Virat Kohli.”
